Lets you know when its time to refill the water reservoir tanks; humidifier motor will shut off when this light illuminates. When the indoor humidity level rises above your selected humidity level, the humidifier will shut off; when it falls below, the unit will power on. Slim, tower design doesnt take up a lot of space.
